COVID-19 LATEST UPDATE | 24th March 2020

The schools in Uganda closed on Friday 20th March, with all children being sent home. This means that St Paul’s School in Rukungiri has closed until the crisis has passed, and the Komamboga children have all returned to their families.

In Uganda we are doing our best to support our Partners and the vulnerable children on our projects.

In Ethiopia, we continue to be in contact with Beletew Mengesha, from Voice in the Wilderness Development Organisation, to support and encourage him.

CPA is extremely concerned about the situation. To find out how we are responding to the current crisis, both in Africa and in the UK, click here to read the full letter to our supporters.

CPA is a Lincoln based charity that has worked with African partners for 23 years, supporting and encouraging children and young people in poverty, and poor communities in Africa. Our current projects include St Paul’s Nursery and Primary School in Uganda, Komamboga Children, and we have recently completed building classrooms at Komame Senior School in the Afar, Ethiopia.
