Chris and I set up CPA in 1995 after our first visit to Africa, and we are both passionate about inspiring positive change in the communities where we work.

I’ve had the privilege of being involved with various projects in Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique, and Malawi, meeting and working alongside many amazing people.

As a former primary school teacher, education has always been my passion. I believe in the value of good foundations, creative expression, and a love of learning, and it’s been a joy to work with the staff and children at St Paul’s School in Rukungiri, Uganda for many years.

A recent focus has been to write and give ‘Safeguarding training’ to support our partners as they seek to provide safe environments for children; promoting their rights and ensuring their wellbeing.

More recently, I’ve also been involved in office administration again, which has brought me full circle to the days when we first started out. It’s such a pleasure to be in touch with supporters, who are always so encouraging.
